This one hurts
For all of the Minnesota Vikings fans who have been so ingrained in the consistent performances of number 8 - Kirk Cousins - it just makes you sad to hear that he will be wearing another NFL team's jersey next year. Sure there will always be the cynical people who argue that Kirk never brought the Super Bowl trophy home. Unfortunately, that statistic is true, but NOBODY can dare question his loyalty and work ethic.

Week after week you could count on him running out onto the field
Check out this fact - according to espn.com "...he had started 136 of a possible 138 games since ascending to QB1 with the Washington Commanders in 2015. One of those two missed starts occurred when the Vikings were resting their starters for the playoffs in 2019, and the other came after a positive COVID-19 test in 2021"

His downfall with the critics was that he never won the BIG GAME

Once again, UNFORTUNATELY, that is true. The fickle football fans don't care that "The four-time Pro Bowl selection ranks fifth among active quarterbacks -- and 24th all-time -- with 39,471 passing yards in 12 NFL seasons." Not one Super Bowl ring they will say. Well, now THEY will wait and see how the 35-year-old right-hander will handle his new team.

Atlanta Falcons are the next stop for Kirk

Kirk Cousins will be put to the test with the Atlanta Falcons. espn.com reported today "The Atlanta Falcons have finally solved their franchise quarterback issues. The club agreed to terms on a four-year deal with former Minnesota Vikings free agent quarterback Kirk Cousins on Monday according to his agent, Mike McCartney." A source told an ESPN reporter that "Cousins' deal is worth $180 million ($45 million per season), including $100 million guaranteed"

Good Luck Kirk, thanks for all your efforts.
