So if you heard some chatter surrounding Mandan this morning, AND you live IN MANDAN, then check this out....

Today is Friday, the 1st of July ( Hard to believe ) and we are just days away from the 4th of July of course. With the fireworks all poised and ready to blast off on Monday, you can only imagine just how many people took today off making it an extra-long weekend - and I don't blame them. So with more people at home today ( here in Mandan ) it is virtually a no-brainer that residents will be using more water. The most obvious is that we all take for granted simply turning a faucet and out it comes. When was the last time you had to worry about conserving water?

Not a big deal, just focus on being conscientious

Some may feel inconvenienced, I get it, but it's only for a little while. According to kxnet.com "Mandan Public Works is asking those living north of Main Street and south of I-94 from Collins Ave West, as well as Diane’s Addition, to conserve water until further notice, including water lawns, according to a press release"

So how long will this be in effect?

I'm right there with you when it comes to wondering how long this will be in effect, and kxnet.com reports that someone from the Public Works Crew said that they hope to have the repairs complete by the end of today. So just relax, sit back, and be patient, before you know it it will be all over.
