Kennedy DeLap-Miss North Dakota 2025 Lights Up Our Mandan Studios

Yesterday was, for the most part, cloudy, gloomy,  and some drops of rain

Just after 1:00 pm, though, here at our Mandan Townsquare Media studios, it was bright and sunny indoors as we were all honored to have a special guest drop by. A person who is indeed looked up to and admired by men and women of all ages. Her name is Kennedy DeLap - Miss North Dakota 2025. A graduate from Century High School here in Bismarck, after spending 4-5 minutes with her in my studio, it was so obvious to see how much she loves making people smile. She radiates charm and is extremely down-to-earth.

I saw firsthand how her eyes lit up when she talked about how amazing it was competing in the Miss America pageant - this is what she posted 6 weeks ago:

"It is beyond surreal that I got to walk the Miss America stage this week, a dream so big I almost didn’t dare to dream it." I can say this, North Dakota was so well represented -

."30 seconds to know Kennedy better"

One of the fun features that Kennedy played along with,was "Rapid Question and Answers" as Hot 975 Andi Ahne ran that by Miss North Dakota...

1) "What is your favorite holiday?"   ------ "X-Mas"

2) "Costume or on costume for Halloween?" --"100% costume every year, I go                                                                                       way too hard"   

3) Are you a Dog person or a Cat person?" -- "Dog, but I like cats too"

4) "Favorite fast food meal"   ------------"Can chicken wings be a fast food meal?"

5) "Sweat pants or leggings?" --------" Oh sweat pants, all day, every day"

Those were just a few highlights she shared with us, along with how heavy and incredible her crown is.

Miss North Dakota- Kennedy DeLap is a wonderful lady,  and we are so proud to have her in our community.
