Well, so far this season, I think the real surprise is just how much parody there is this football season

We are now heading into week seven, and there are no undefeated teams left. Only four out of 32 teams have lost just one game. Of course, though, there is usually one poor team that is just plain perfectly awful - as in 0 for 6 - yikes. The obvious thing about football is injuries, which, in my opinion, can make or break your team, physically and confidence-wise for sure.

Bismarck's very own Carson Wentz knows all about injuries

A superstar right here in Bismarck ( Century High School ), and Carson has been in the National Football League for nine years now, and in 2017, he missed playing in the Super Bowl with Philadelphia due to a season-ending injury. He hasn't quit his drive and determination, this year, he came to the Minnesota Vikings as back-up quarterback to JJ McCarthy - JJ found himself out of action in week 3. So Carson had his chance once again - according to newsweek.com "Carson Wentz has gone 2-1 as the team's starter and has run the offense more effectively than the 22-year-old quarterback. There is reason to believe there are some mixed feelings about handing the starting job back over to McCarthy"

"Wentz is dealing with a "painful" shoulder injury..."

The Vikings may have to call out their 3rd string quarteback ( Max Brosmer ) to start THIS Sunday against Wentz's old team, the Philadelphia Eagles. "Wentz is dealing with a "painful" shoulder injury, and McCarthy practiced for the first time this week after suffering a high ankle sprain" newsweek.com reported. This Friday the Vikings will post their final injury list - we will have to wait until then.
