Look, I have no problem admitting this

I am a complete pushover when it comes to anything that tugs at your heart and causes a tear or two in my eyes. Super Bowl Sunday is this weekend. I'm sure you already know that. Maybe by tomorrow, you will have made a trip to the store and stocked up on everything you need for your party. Chips, dips, cold drinks, and of course, plenty of handkerchiefs to pass around when Budweiser airs its commercial. They are famous for grabbing your attention and showcasing their magnificent Clydesdales.

This year, keep your eyes open for a majestic bald eagle and a North Dakota farmer

Less than 70 miles from our studios here in Mandan is a town called Coleharbor. Last checked, according to worldpopulationreview.com ( 2024-2026 ), the population was listed as 62. One of them, this Sunday, will be seen all around the world. According to kfyrtv.com Brian Fransen got the call from Budweiser. I love what he had to say about the 60-second commercial - “The title of the commercial is ‘American Icons.’ And what better icon than a Clydesdale, a bald eagle, and a farmer who literally works with this American soil to make his living,”

So will this sudden fame entice Brian to leave North Dakota?

“I think I’ll stick to the plains of North Dakota!” - I don't blame you one bit. Make sure when the game cuts to the commercials THIS Sunday, take a moment and be proud of living here ( thanks to a Clydesdale, a bald eagle, and Brian Fransen!
