When you sing in a tribute band, I can only assume that your dream is to play with the actual band you're emulating. One Bono impersonator had that opportunity in Los Angeles Tuesday night (May 27).

Joe Hier, singer for the U2 tribute act Hollywood U2, put on his best Bono threads to attend the band's concert at The Forum, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Before the band began performing their hit 'Sweetest Thing,' the real Bono spotted Hier in the audience and brought him up on stage.

After a few minutes of pleasantries, most of which involved the real Bono poking a little fun at the fake Bono, the band begins the song. It isn't until about halfway through the song that Bono truly makes Hier's dream come true, letting him sing the rest of the tune in front of a raucous crowd.

U2 have three more shows scheduled for The Forum in Los Angeles.
