“Seeds Of Eden” – Saving Lives In North Dakota
An amazing Mission & Vision...
..."Seeds of Eden exists to provide support to those who are struggling with addictions and other situations that have derailed life, rendering them feeling hopeless" The key part of that last sentence is "...feeling hopeless" It was by far my lowest point of life, for I experienced that back in 2008. Living in San Diego, I had tried many times to STOP drinking - to STAY sober, and I couldn't. I failed, and I almost quit life. This wonderful program has saved so many lives and will continue.
His name is Ryan Botner - he is in recovery, and he wants to be the "Best leader he can be"
Once a successful money-making insurance man ( ironically selling life insurance ) - went through dangerous times using drugs and finding his world spiraling out of control. His life was saved, he opened a bible and he has been on a path of leadership ever since ( 10-22-2020 is his sobriety date ). Today he is the Chief Developing Officer for Seeds of Eden.
Seeds of Eden began back in 2022
With three recovery homes for men in North Dakota ( Minot, Washburn, Devils Lake ) and one for women ( Mandan ) residents who qualify are eligible to obtain a 12-week voucher with the State of North Dakota to help pay for their stay. Here is a staggering statistic - Only 11% of those addicted to drugs or alcohol actually receive treatment or help -- "We are here to help the 89%" says Seeds of Eden.
Ryan had just finished speaking to a group earlier this morning
We talked on the phone for about 15 minutes - he loves to speak to people - "...to be a beacon of light" - and in my opinion, he and others in Seeds of Eden are wonderful examples of how you can turn your life around. If you or anyone you know is in trouble, unable to grasp the reality of staying sober - find it impossible to think you can live with drugs or alcohol - if you are ready to surrender - just a simple click here - seedsofeden.net and you'll find resources that can save your life:
: Recovery Housing
: Care Coordination
: Peer Support
: Job Coaching
: Carpentry Training
Remember, you OWE yourself a better life - one without fear, one without tormenting yourself every day drinking/using - being a complete victim of addiction. There is no shame in asking for and getting help. Thank you Ryan for your time today, and THANK YOU Seeds of Eden.
