Tails Of The Midwest Is Providing Food For Pets In Need

I think we have all felt the effects of the pandemic. Two weeks of social distancing has turned into months, and it looks like it could be more than just months at this point. Some families have struggled to put food on their tables, and some have even struggled to feed their pets.

Thank goodness, there is a local shelter that is able to help families that are struggling to feed their pets. Bismarck-Mandan pet rescue, Tails of the Midwest, is here to help feed local pets in need. According to KFYR-TV, the pet rescue got "hundreds of pounds of extra pet food and decided to donated pet food curbside to needy homes in order to maintain good pet health." And this Saturday, July 25, the shelter will have a drive-up food pantry at Heaven's Helpers Soup Cafe. Get all the details about this story here. According to their website, it was founded in September 2017, and they take "unwanted, abandoned, abused, or stray pets and attempt to find suitable forever-homes for them."
