UND FANS: Williston Wants To Add A Direct Flight

The airports in Fargo and Grand Forks made waves when they announced direct flights to and from Nashville for the 2020 Hall of Fame Game. Now, Overland Aviation in Williston wants to offer the same thing. And it's up to us UND fans to make it happen.

Currently, Overland Aviation is gauging interest levels in a direct round trip to Nashville from Williston. There is a proposed departure date of Thursday, October 15th, 2020 and return date of Sunday, October 18th, 2020 in the afternoon. The Hall of Fame Game is Saturday, October 17th, 2020.

According to Overland Aviation's Facebook post, there needs to be a set number of people who will fly before plans move forward. The Facebook post states:

The flight would be brokered by a charter company that specializes in sports fan charter flights utilizing a 180-seat aircraft. We are gauging the interest level of the public, as there would need to be a firm commitment from a minimum of 170 passengers for a round-trip ticket price of approximately $875 per person.
