Pretty hard NOT to see it when you live in Bismarck

That's an obvious opening statement - YES, OUR Capital building - The State Capital Of North Dakota skyscraper - "Completed and occupied in 1935, North Dakota’s State Capitol was built as a result of a fire which destroyed the original capitol building in 1930. North Dakota’s State Capitol is one of three high-rise capitol buildings in the country and represents North Dakota’s tallest building" according to sos.nd.gov. Are you looking for something FREE? Now I'm going to be honest with you...

...I've lived here in Bismarck for almost 4 years, and not once have I thought about checking out the Capital building, until now. I spent about 10 minutes on the phone with Bob and I am ready for a tour. As always, I had a chance to ask him what his favorite part of the job is - "No doubt meeting groups of people that come in, most of them arrive pretty much unimpressed, and 45 minutes later leave blown away by the inner beauty of the building. A piece of art -  a special vibe of art decor you take in all around you" Imagine as you work your way up to the observation deck ( 2nd to the last floor ) that this structure is almost 93 years old. On a clear day, you can see 35 miles to the west and east. I can't think of anything more charming than coming to work and enlightening so many people all year round.
