Almost 50 Years Of Sounds Coming To An End In Bismarck

I'm not just talking about the rude sound of your alarm clock waking you up Monday morning after a long weekend - or MR. NOISE - the one guy in your neighborhood who takes great pride in taking his weed wacker out before sunrise. Those of course are sounds we wish we could avoid, but how about the ones that bring us joy? There is one store here in Bismarck that has stood out for almost 50 years, and sadly they are closing their doors for good.

Established in 1977, Pacific Sound & Video has been providing Bismarck, Minot, and Dickinson North Dakota with the best in home theater...

Pacific Sound & Video opened on a simple premise: bring the joy of ultimate audio and video entertainment to Bismarck-Mandan, ND, a community we love; and where we live!
The business flourished, including local acquisitions in Dickinson and Minot, providing us with a greater opportunity to serve more communities. We retained the local management as our strategic business partners, now referred to as Local Boyz, managing our branches and supporting local communities as we grow our family-owned business.

From day one, we’ve been all about providing expertise, excellent service and the ultimate value to our neighbors. And because community means so much to us, we enjoy giving back and helping others in need. Pacific Sound & Video and staff have volunteered and donated time and resources to various charities and individuals in need to markets we serve and live.

Unfortunately, the Minot store just recently closed...

...and at the end of this month, the end of the day - August 31st the sounds of silence will begin at 2306 Clydesdale Dr,
