Fear Erupting In Minneapolis – Crime Is Out Of Control
The title of this article says it all. How scary is this?
We've been reading about the high rates of crime in other major cities around the country, just last week I wrote about what is going on in Los Angeles, and how the police are coming right out and saying that they can't guarantee your safety. What is really going on is that crime has become unbelievably fashionable it seems. As the wave continues across the country, now Minneapolis is dealing with it.
'Mobile criminals' is what it's being called, and it is rolling along with momentum
It is quite alarming when the awful statistics you read about in OTHER cities clear across the country, seem to be hitting closer to home lately. According to Foxnews.com "Crime is spilling into Minneapolis’ suburbs, putting the neighborhoods "under attack from mobile criminals," one local mayor said." One of the issues in Minneapolis was pretty much started when their department cut back on police funding.
Crime from every angle has spiked this year
So just last month, on Black Friday, a Best Buy store in Minnesota was left completely helpless when a flood of 20-30 thugs stormed in and looted as much as they could. CBS Minnesota reported that "More than 500 carjackings have been reported so far this year, which is 100 more than 2020" Here is the terrifying part, crime is oozing into the suburbs. I can tell you this, our Bismarck/Mandan police departments are definitely aware of the surges and are staying alert and vigilant.
