Look What’s UP ( And DOWN ) At Medora!

Have you found yourself talking to Mother Nature lately? Pleading for a quick departure from Bismarck/Mandan?

We all have at one point or another, for once the summer officially kicks in, the temps rise, the days seem to last forever, our minds start focusing on one of the coolest places in North Dakota, and in the country for that matter. I'm talking about Medora of course.

When you hear the word "Medora", what do you think of immediately?

Some people when they hear the word "Medora" imagine themselves out on the fairway playing golf on one of the most talked-about, gorgeous, challenging golf courses you'll ever see - Bully Pulpit Golf Course. Then of course there will be those that will tell you they immediately thought of restaurants, shops, and the pitchfork steak fondue ( by the way please do not use your pitchfork as a putter ) The most obvious though is what has put Medora on the map, their entertainment, shows. Home of the Medora Musical, the Burning Hills Amphitheatre is a masterpiece. Tucked right there in the base of the hill, is there nothing more relaxing than a sun-splashed late afternoon show?

An elevator under construction is taking shape every day to add to the whole entertainment experience. This new feature will be much more efficient, check this out, according to blog.medora.com "Instead of being shuttled up and down our winding walking path — a process that could take up to an hour on busy nights — guests in need of extra assistance will have a fast, safe, efficient new option" One of Medora's regular patrons summed this up perfectly -  “I have a little girl in a wheelchair, and she loves the Medora Musical, but we’ve only seen it once due to it being difficult to get her to and from the amphitheatre,”

So bring on the summer!!!
