...At least for some of the OUTDOOR golf courses here in town. For golfers everywhere, we all knew that time was coming - we've lived in North Dakota long enough to know when Mother Nature decides to flex her muscles, the chances of getting a last-second hole-in-one were impossible. This year though, the weather has been cooperating - just yesterday ( October 28th ) we almost hit 60 degrees - heck let's tee it up - but every year there comes a time when most golf courses start closing - and for that time is coming up.

Halloween - dress up like Tiger Woods and play your last round of golf

This Thursday - Halloween - October 31st - Bismarck Public Golf Courses Closing. Here is what the Bismarck Parks And Recreation District posted recently:

"Bismarck Public Golf Courses Closing for Season Bismarck, N.D. – Bismarck Parks and Recreation District golf courses are closing for the season. The final day of golf at Pebble Creek, Riverwood and Tom O'Leary Golf Courses is Thursday, Oct. 31. Fore Seasons Center is open year-round from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sixteen Toptracer Range bays are available on the indoor driving range, providing year-round golf with technology that allows you to practice your technique or play a virtual round on a famous course. A Toptracer Range League and a Putting League will be offered at Fore Seasons Center January through March. Registration for the Toptracer Range League opens in November. Details will be posted at www.bisparks.org next month"

So listen, get out there ASAP - and no foot wedges please - there are cameras everywhere!
