Bringing tribute bands on stage to perform with them has become U2's 'thing' of late, as they did it once again Monday night, July 6th, in Toronto.

If you'll recall, back in May, U2 lead singer Bono brought U2 tribute band singer Joe Hier on stage in Los Angeles to perform 'Sweetest Thing.'

So, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the band was at it again Monday night, bringing U2 tribute act Acrobat on stage in Toronto to perform 'Desire,' which you can see above, thanks to our friends at Spin.com.

So, if you're thinking about starting a tribute band, you may want to consider paying homage to U2. If anything, you'll have a pretty good chance of ending up on stage with the band.
