Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles rebounded from last week's tough loss and did so against a tough Jacksonville Jaguars defense in a game played in London.

At Wembley Stadium, Wentz and the Eagles offense recovered from a couple of early turnovers and were able to get in the end zone when they needed it to beat the Jags, 24-18.

Wentz had a rough start to the game with a lost fumble and an interception on the Eagles first two possessions. But would find the end zone for the first time late in the first half with just 29 seconds left. With the Eagles down 6-3, at the Jacksonville 32, Wentz rolled to his right and threw across the field deep to tight end Dallas Goedert for a touchdown to make it a 10-6 game at the half.

On the Eagles first possession of the third quarter, Wentz led the Eagles on a 9 play, 95 yard drive that resulted in a 36 yard touchdown screen pass to Wendell Smallwood to make it a 17-6 game. The Jags would respond on their next possession with a touchdown drive of their own. Blake Bortles hit Dede Westbrook in the end zone on an 11-yard pass to make it 17-12 as the two-point conversion failed.

An early fourth quarter field goal from Jacksonville made it 17-15 before the Eagles struck again on the ensuing possession. On the first play of the drive from the Eagles 25, Wentz went deep to Jordan Matthews for 36 yards to put Philadelphia at the Jacksonville 39. Two plays later, rookie running back Josh Adams busted a 17-yard run to get inside the Jags 10-yard line. Another two plays later, Wentz threw a dart to Zach Ertz in the end zone for a 5-yard touchdown to make it a 24-15 game with 9:55 remaining.

The Jags would put up a field goal after that but could not get in the end zone. The Philadelphia defense made a key stop near midfield on downs with 3:41 remaining and Jacksonville would never get the ball back.

Wentz finished 21 of 30 for 286 yards with 3 touchdowns and an interception. Jordan Matthews had 93 yards receiving on 4 catches. Bortles was 24 of 41 for 286 yards and a touchdown for Jacksonville (3-5).

The Eagles (4-4) will be on a bye next week and will play again at home against the Dallas Cowboys (3-4) on Sunday Night Football, November 11th.
