Carson and Dallas Have Some Fun

As we get ready for a new Bison game this weekend, lets pause and remember last weekend, shall we?  

A bet's a bet.

Last week the Bison squared off with conference rival South Dakota State in another classic Dakota Marker game.

While the game has always been a big deal for Dakotans, the importance of this FCS rivalry game was so big that it reached the NFL and prompted a unique photo opportunity between Eagles teammates Carson Wentz and Dallas Goedert.

Wentz, obviously, is a proud Bison, while the rookie Goedert is just a year removed from playing on a Jackrabbits squad that beat NDSU in the 2017 Marker game. That led to a fun wager between the teammates that Wentz ultimately won. He seems to do a lot of that.

 Nice to see NFL players acknowledging the rivalry!

The Eagles will look to get back in the win column this week against a struggling Vikings team that is certain to divide loyalties here in town.
