Night Out On The Town In ND – 4 People Shot – 2 Dead
A friend of mine who lives in Fargo stepped out for the night to enjoy downtown Fargo
Just a typical "night out on the town" was the plan. A few friends, a few drinks, celebrating another weekend, NO anticipation of any danger whatsoever. My mom used to say, "Wrong place at the wrong time? - That's what happened last night.
"...Police responded to the 50th block of Broadway in downtown Fargo for a report of shots fired.'
Most people have never heard real gunshots, sure, many go hunting every season, but when real-life drama unfolds, it's hard to grasp. "It happened so fast and ouf nowhere, we heard the shots and saw people running" Not until this morning when the news began to spread, did he realize he was that close to being in the "Wrong place at the wrong time." Turns out there were TWO "Wrong places."
Four people were shot in two separate incidents.
Two separate incidents, which involved gunfire, one person dead - how scary is that? According to inforum.com "The first shooting happened just before 2 a.m. outside the District 64 nightclub off Broadway in downtown Fargo. Fargo police say three people were shot. The extent of their injuries is unknown."
The second shooting took place at a different location - around an half hour later near a basketball court at the Westwood Estates apartment complex - this one led to a fatality. So far, there is no word on any suspects involved ,as this is still an ongoing investigation. The dead man's name has not been released, and no word yet if both shootings were related.
