UPDATE:Has North Dakota’s Dream Run Dry?
**** UPDATE ***
Is This The End Of The Dream?
The latest information is that there is NO information whatsoever IF this will happen. According to valleynewslive.com "...city leaders say the foundation permit has expired and no work has been done in several months. This comes after trouble with the developer, West Fargo’s EPIC Companies, including an abrupt closure, bankruptcy filings and lawsuits starting last May"
According to inforum.com back in April of 2023 )
"A proposed Fargo water park that was looking to start operating in the fall of 2024 now anticipates a 2025 opening. Last summer, EPIC Companies of West Fargo released renderings and details for a hotel and indoor water park project it plans to build along 45th Street in Fargo, stating the company was hoping to open the water park by the fall of 2024."
When this first came out, I wrote this:
"Imagine hanging out all day at North Dakota's Largest Indoor Water Park!"
I posted an article about the talk of a proposed indoor water park being built in North Dakota, not just any ordinary park, but THE largest in the state. This is what I found on Facebook a while back "North Dakota's largest indoor water park coming to Fargo"
THE biggest questions were...WHERE and WHEN?
The first question was answered on Facebook by Carolina Mace - "It will be located by Anderson Park on 45th St South next to Sonic" The much-anticipated answer to WHEN was given to me by a gentleman on the phone who is part of EPIC and THE WAVE who said their goal is 2024. Ok, so listen, I know that seems like a long time from now, but we can still hold on to our hopes of this happening.
EPIC MANAGEMENT releasing a look into the near future
